AEM has just released their cold air intake for the 2013-2014 Dodge Dart with the 1.4L turbocharged engine. This cold air intake system is available in polished aluminum or gunmetal gray powder coating and includes an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration, and performance while allowing easy oil-free cleaning. This intake includes a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and high quality hardware designed to reduce restriction and reduce intake temperature.

  • Fits 2013 and 2014 Darts with 1.4 liter motors. Will not fit the 2015+ Darts with 1.4's unless you install a vacuum tee to convert the two vacuum connections from the engine to the single vacuum port on this intake.

      As of 3/28/2014 This intake is NOT CARB (California Air Research Board) approved. This means its not legal for use in California. It might be carb approved at a later date.

      No, none of the air intakes that we carry for the Dart will cause a check engine light. We wouldnt offer an air intake for sale that would cause a check engine light to come on!

    Are these intakes now CARB legal in California? What is the chances of it sucking up water during a rain storm? I live in palm springs so it doesn't rain all the time but sometimes it rains decent.

      This intake is approved for use in California by the California Air Research Board (CARB) with a CARB number: D-670-21. This intake places the filter behind the factory fog light location, so its not that low, but also, there is a huge plastic undertray that prevents water from splashing onto the filter. The only way to get water into the filter is to submerge the front end of your car into water thats at least 24 inches deep or more for an extended period of time. Not likely to happen, if you are overly concerned, get a short ram intake that places the filter higher.
