Industry leading locking sleeve. NO where else in the aftermarket is there a knob with more than 3 locking set screws. Those with 3 or 4 screws can come loose over time and come off, spin around, etc. This sleeve/knob system will not come off till you take it off. It locks on really well!

CNC machined aluminum is a perfect weight to complement shift throws. Feels nice and solid, and is very durable. Highly polished finish complements just about any interior as well.

If you have a SRT-4 then you can feel the irritating upper and lower cast marks where the upper and lower pieces come together when its made. This one, has no casting marks and is a high quality piece.

If you have a SRT-4 and are a aggressive driver, you can easily rip the shift knob off going from first to second. We know this- as we have done it on our own project car. The innovative locking system prevents it from coming off even during the most aggressive shifting. This is also important as the more times you remove the knob to access the console, etc the more the press fit locking system inside the knob will become worn out and easily come off when shifting later.

This knob will fit all 95-99 Neon's, 2000+ Neon's, 2003+ SRT-4's and many other cars. Its Retro style /American made fitment, and design will also compliment just about any car out there as well.

We also recommend stiffer shifter bushings to firm up your shift.

Here's some comments from a recent buyer of the MPx shift knob.

"a knob that doesn't come off (so they claim-i'll have to see later on if it does stay put) It's purty allright...with a big cavity which screws onto the "head" which in turn slides onto the shifter shaft (this is starting to sound ghey...ain't it) and it's held in place onto the shaft by 8, count 'em...8 set screws...which you tighten nice and hard, then simply screw the knob on.

Voila'...looks bling bling and the feel is superior, being that the knob itself weighs a quite bit more than the factory cheapy knob so the extra weight seems to aid for a more positive shift.

I'll have to give a few rips see how it all holds together, but so far it's looking and feeling good. If it doesn't come off on those 2nd. gear bangs, then we're good to go...and with 8 set screws holding it together, i'm thinking it'll hold."
