These stage kits are processing again through Mopar and are no longer on hold. These are custom ordered with your vin number and mileage. Normal timeframe for stage kits can be as little as 1.5 weeks, and as much as 6 weeks. This is not a guaranteed time frame and can take longer than this.

NOTE: There are TWO seperate part numbers for the Caliber SRT4 stage 1, based on the build date of your Caliber. This part number, is for vehicles BUILT BEFORE 1-15-08. If your Caliber was built AFTER 1-15-08 then you need to order the other part number.

Youll find the build tag on the side of your drivers side door. Take a look at the photo of a build tag below to see where your build date is on a typical build tag. The first red circle on the top is the month/year build date.

Example of a Dodge Caliber build tag

IF YOUR CAR is a 01/08 build date, then look at the MDH second red circle to identify what date your car was built in January. MDH stands for Month/Date/Hour, and this vehicles build tag it shows 062112 which means 6th month, 21st day, at 12th hour. That means this vehicle was assembled 6-21-08 at Noon. The first two digits are for month, next two are for day, and last two are for hours in military format.

Want to increase the performance of your Caliber SRT4, safely and easily? Mopar has released this performance upgrade that consists of a new PCM that completely replaces your factory pcm.

Benefits of the Stage 1 kit:

Increased boost level, most people see a change in boost from 10 peak psi boost to 14-15 psi.

Caliber SRT4 boost level STOCK Caliber SRT4 boost level after installing stage 1 upgrade

  • To develop additional peak power and peak torque for the Stage 1 package, the boost was increased in all gears under wide-open throttle (WOT) conditions. The maximum torque limit has been increased to 245lb*ft in first gear and 300 lb*ft in second through sixth. (This is important news for you guys wanting to install a boost controller and dont want the torque management system to keep cutting the throttle back on you!)

    Revised Throttle Pedal Calibration

  • The pedal response curve has been recalibrated for improved response and performance feel. Take a look at this dyno chart of the difference stage 1 made on a Caliber SRT4. A gain of 27 horsepower and 46 lbs of torque at the WHEELS! This has helped transform the car into a car thats TONS of fun to drive, and it can accelerate nicely no matter what gear your in with very light throttle now!

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Can I keep my factory PCM ? YES YOU CAN KEEP YOUR FACTORY PCM!! You do NOT NOT NOT need to return your factory pcm to us.
  • If I want to return my Caliber SRT-4 back to stock later, and want to reinstall my factory pcm, can I do that ? YES YOU CAN.
  • How come Modern Performance's price is so much cheaper than my local dealerships price ? We'll, Modern Performance is a Mopar Performance DIRECT warehouse. So, we get products directly from Mopar, and we move more stage 1's for the Neon/Caliber than anyone else (verified by the programmer for the stage kits for Mopar!) so we pass our savings onto you by giving you a GREAT price on a 100% Factory MOPAR piece.
  • Why do you ask for the Vin number of my car ? All Chrysler vehicles after 2003 have a special security feature that makes sure that the electronic components report to each other the vin number, and they have to match. Therefore, the stage 1 has to have your specific vin number burned into it.
  • Why do you ask for the mileage of my car ? This is for warranty reasons, Chrysler wants your pcm and your display to have similar matching mileage.
  • What happens when I give you my mileage as 10,000 and I have 13,000 miles by the time I receive the stage 1 I ordered from you ? Thats fine, as long as the mileages are similar.
  • I live outside the USA, and my display shows Kilometers per Hour (KMH), will this stage 1 affect my display or will my display still show KMH? Thats fine, the mileage we report is just a numerical XX,XXX digit and we do not report MPH or KMH. Your display will continue to show whatever it had before.

Note: These are custom ordered with your vin number and mileage. Normal timeframe for stage kits can be as little as 4 weeks, and as much as 6 weeks. This is not a guaranteed time frame and can take shorter or longer than this.

Be sure to enter your 17 digit VIN number and mileage in the entry blank before clicking add to cart!
